I’ve been following the Instagram account Sad Topographies for a while now, and I’m pleased to see that a book has been made to give more context to the images on there. It features some very oddly / wonderfully / depressingly named REAL places around the world as found by graphic designer and photographer Damien Rudd. Would you fancy a swim in Unfortunate Cove? A drive along Shades of Death Road? Or a quick go on the swings in Crack is Wack playground? The book expands on the Instagram account and gives more context and background to each place. A fascinating read.
