I’m graphic designer based in Brighton. I’ve been delivering successful design projects for over 20 years, since graduating from Kingston University with a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design.

Formally co-owner of Brighton design studio Itonic (2005–12), I started Stoats & Weasels in 2012. My aim is to bring fresh, bold, imaginative design to my clients’ branding and marketing. I’m reliable on delivery and deadlines, and I’m versatile enough to meet the needs of a diverse bunch of clients. I love every element of design  – and it is this enthusiasm that I bring to every project I work on.

Why Stoats & Weasels? Well like my namesakes in the wild, I take on both large and small challenges. I apply creativity, experience and dedication to every task. I have a tried and tested pool of collaborators to draw from (web developers, copywriters, photographers, marketeers etc). This means I can build a team around the needs of a bigger project, and keep everyone happy (you and them).

Creativity is essential, but the success of a good design lies in how well it meets the needs of the client. My approach is to listen carefully and get a conversation going. I get to understand what you want to achieve from the project: brand impact, effective messaging, visual personality… and so on. The design process serves the outcome, and so the desired outcome determines the creative approach. The two are closely related, a bit like stoats and weasels.

It’s nice when people compliment my work because of how good it looks. It’s even nicer when people praise it for how well it meets their needs.
