This place is brilliant. A great morning or afternoon out wandering around 26 acres of woodland studded with 60–80 or so weird and wonderful sculptures. There are some incredible designs on display, and they vary in size from the ‘normal’ to absolutely enormous. It has a very nice picnic area too, which is most important for a day out. Well it is when there’s no tea shop on site (scandal).
All of the sculptures are available to buy too if you have a corner of the garden to fill, and a few (thousand) coppers rattling around in your glove box.
It’s near Chichester, only an hour from Brighton. If you’ve got a few hours free, go and have a look! Cass Sculpture Foundation.
