I’ve been a long time admirer of the work of Brighton’s knitting and textile genius Kate Jenkins. While those that know me are familiar with my partiality for ill-advised bobble hats, Kate’s work inspires for totally different reasons.
She applies her considerable technical skills into turning every day items into unique works of contemporary art. She’s famous for her knitted food and in the past has even turned a London gallery into a good old greasy spoon caff.
