Affordable art and cake

It’s that festival time of year again, and we’re already half way through our Open House schedule. We’ve had two very busy first weekends (and a crazy Private View) and are hoping that it continues for the remaining two. Everyone puts in such a lot of effort to make our Open House look so good, but it’s definitely worth it. For me, I enjoy the focus it gives me to produce my own design work outside of my normal graphic design for clients role… and of course everyone gets to nose about other people’s houses around Brighton!

This year we’ve got a great line up of artists:

Lee Albrow – papercuts
Alex Bamford
 – various photographic projects
Lisa Bamford – graphic art
Kate Benjamin – scanography
Edward Bishop – photography
Frances Bloomfield – dream boxes
Hannah Cole – printmaking
Claire Griffiths – knitting needle jewellery
Barbara Gorton – ceramics
Finn Hopson – landscape photography
Wesley West – sculpture

Come and say hello and eat some cake! We’ll be open on Sat 17th, Sun 18th, Sat 24th and Sun 25th from 11am – 6pm. After that we’ll be trying to find where we hid our furniture and redecorating! We’re at 21a Brunswick Square, Hove – just look for the bunting.
