Lucinda Rogers

I recently visited the House of Illustration in London, and saw the amazing work of artist Lucinda Rogers. Her project on display is on gentrification. Drawing directly from life, Lucinda Rogers captures intimate details and broad views of cities around the world. For this exhibition she explores the relationship between old and new, focussing on East London’s 200-year-old Ridley Road Market and a new block of luxury flats soon to be unveiled. I just totally fell in love with her drawings, so loose but with so much life and energy. Inky heaven.

The exhibition runs until 25th March, find our more here.
