I often get a challenging brief which flexes my graphic design muscles. I was approached to design a running order poster for a wedding and the brief was “tropical (they currently live in Malaysia), British seaside (they met in Brighton) meets 20s speakeasy (the theme of the wedding).” I did choke a bit when I read that one, heh, but think I pulled it off. The happy couple were delighted and it received many favourable comments at the wedding itself. Phew!
