On a recent trip to New York I combined my passions for hunting out interesting typography and photography. The above image is a collage of some of the neon signs that NYC seems to be so good at. I wish there was more neon used (well) in the UK. I’m not sure whether it’s the fact that it looks so retro Americana and therefore different to what we see here, but I think it’s so just so damn cool. Hell yeah. I also thoroughly researched the rumour that New Yorker’s are quite adept at making cheesecake and pancakes… and my elasticated waistband can confirm that indeed they are. Mmmnnnn.
